It’s Pancake Day today and hope that our team will see plenty of the community at St Cuthman’s Whitehawk after school.
For this Lent and Easter we have a couple of appeals on and would love everyone to share and join in.
Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday and marks the beginning of the Lent Period. At the Whitehawk Foodbank we’ve created our AdLent Calendar and would love it if you’d consider joining us in putting aside an item each day to donate to our Foodbank this Lent.
If you’d like to join in the campaign and share with your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues, make sure to use the hashtag #ADLENTCALENDAR to spread the word.
You’ll find the poster here:

As we do every year, we’d love to be able to put together special Easter Packs to go alongside each of our parcels so that those in most need can enjoy a special treat over the Easter Holidays. Our Volunteer Team will be taking a well earned break in the week leading up to Easter so we are aiming to get these out to our delivery and collection clients on 29th and 30th March.
So we know if we’re likely to have a deficit or not, it would aim to have any donations with us by 23rd March.
Easter Egg Donations can be dropped off at the Whitehawk Foodbank or put into any of our permanent collection points. You’ll find a full list of these here: https://thewhitehawk.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/
Our Address is: The Whitehawk Foodbank, The Valley Social Centre, Whitehawk Way, BN2 5HE.
Delivery Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays between 10am-2pm.
