How to give money to the foodbank

The Whitehawk Foodbank is totally self-funded and relies on grants and donations to keep afloat.

We are always grateful for donations of food, but financial donations allow us to direct your gift to where it is most needed.  That might be purchasing supplies of specific food or household goods, but it could also be directed towards rent, insurance or helping to fund one of our money advisers.

If you would like to contribute to our work there are several options:

Monthly Standing Order

This is our preferred method of giving as it allows us to plan our resources for the future.

Please complete this Gift Aid form and return it to us.  This allows us to claim an additional 25% on top of your gift if you are a UK taxpayer.

Give By Text

You can text FOOD to 70470 to give £20 – costs £20 plus a std rate msg.

Alternatively you can text FOOD followed by any other whole amount up to £20, eg FOOD10.

For regular giving you can text FOODYEAR to 70470 to give £15 a month. This costs £15 per month plus a std rate msg.

To give any amount either as a regular or one-off gift you can use our online platform Givey.
